A padded head harness with a steel chain, for loading neck work with a plate or a cable. The neck is the one thing a normal session never trains directly — this is the tool that does it.

• Padding: padded, adjustable straps across the forehead and under the chin, with a support strap at the back of the head
• Construction: double-stitched webbing
• Chain: heavy-duty steel chain on D-rings
• Carabiner: screw-thread locking gate, so it cannot slide open under load

Good to know

• Start far lighter than you expect. The neck takes small loads and a lot of controlled reps, not heavy singles.
• Move slowly through the range and stop at the first sign of pinching or dizziness.
• Boxers, wrestlers, rugby players and MMA athletes are the usual users, because their sport loads the neck and nothing else in the gym does.
